Easiest way to transfer website to a new host
Website hosting is server space where you store your website’s files. The company providing this service for you is known as your host. There are more and more website owners want to change a company for various reasons, most of all are web hosting providers that didn’t live up to their expectations, then they have to transfer website to a new host.

When you find a new hosting provider and purchase a hosting account, add it to Multcloud please. Then add the old one in the same way.
Now, it’s time to copy files from from one website to another. First, select all files in “FTP old” by checking the box near “Name”. Second, start to move all files by dragging, holding left mouse button please. During the process, there will be a progress bar on the right bottom, from which you can estimate the task time.
If there are large volume of files in the old website, transferring all of them will spend long time. We suggest you to set scheduled FTP transfer. Then the task will be commited in the background even after power off.
Once your website transfer is completed, you should test and confirm your new host is working correctly. Then you can proceed to cancel your old website hosting account.
