Multi Cloud Transfer with MultCloud
The following will guide you step by step for this task.
Part 1. Sign up for MultCloud services
Since MultCloud is an online web program, to make use of its services, first of all, you should create an account of it. Just follow its guidance, the process is very easy.
Tips: There is no need of software downloading and installing on local computer to occupy precious hard disk storage space.
Part 2. Add multiple cloud drives to MultCloud platform
After your MultCloud account is created, sign into it. No profile settings, you can directly move to “Add Clouds” tab on the top menu, select the cloud brand you are going to add and click “Next”. Still, follow the easy guide to finish this procedure.
Add the extra cloud accounts in the same way. Currently, MultCloud supports around 30 different kinds of clouds like Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Amazon, MEGA, pCloud, Box and so on.
Part 3. Multi cloud transfer
Now, let’s go to “Cloud Transfer” screen. Choose source and destination cloud drives. Finally, click “Transfer Now”.
As for how to select multiple source clouds, click on the first column. In the pop-up window, firstly, tick “Multi-selection”; then, click on the cloud drives you are going to transfer. Finally, click “OK”.
Tips: You can choose folders of different cloud drives as the multi sources.
After clicking “Transfer Now”, while the migration is operating, you can view its status in Task Manager by clicking the little icon on the upper right. In task manager, you can view the details of the task. Also, you can cancel the task before it finishes.
More to Do for Multi Cloud Transfer
There are “Options”, “Schedule” and “Task #” in the lower left of cloud transfer screen.
- Options: In its pop-up window, you can do some advanced settings like whether to delete source files when transfer is complete, order email notification when movement is done, filter some files to be or not to be migrated by their file name extensions, etc.
- Schedule: You are able to set up a schedule to automatically carry out the transfer task in the future once, daily, weekly or monthly.
- Task #: Task name is available for editing.
