Enterprise Cloud Migration Tool – MultCloud

MultCloud, as its name refers, is an online multiple clouds manager, which can help us to migrate data from one enterprise cloud storage to another.

As for how to use this cloud migration service, please follow below steps.

Step 1. Create MultCloud Account

Since MultCloud is a web-based solution, to make use of it, firstly, we should sign up for its services.

Step 2. Add Enterprise Cloud Drive(s)

Secondly, we should add the related enterprise cloud accounts into MultCloud platform.

After successfully created MultCloud account, sign into its platform. In the main interface, move to “Add Clouds” tab and select the correct cloud brand. Then, to finish this task, just follow the guidance. Here, take adding Dropbox for Business for example.

Note: In one time, MultCloud only allows to add one cloud account. To add more accounts, just repeat the process.

Step 3. Enterprise Cloud Migration

When all related cloud drives are added into MultCloud, go to “Cloud Transfer” tab, specify source and destination enterprise clouds and click “Transfer Now”. Here take migrating Dropbox for Business to OneDrive for Business for instance.

Notes:

• We can migrate within the same cloud brand, e.g. from one Dropbox for Business account to another.
• We can also move between personal cloud account and enterprise cloud account.

Tips for Enterprise Cloud Migration

For enterprise cloud movement, we are able to do some settings. In above window, in the lower left, click “Options”, and, the related settings will pop-up. Here, we can decide whether to delete source files or not when the migration is done; order email notification for this task, and, filter certain kinds of files to be excluded from this migrating.




MultCloud also enables us to set a schedule. Then, it can auto carry out the same process in the future. In lower left, just check the “Schedule” to make a plan.
